You can enjoy the beauty and serenity of the Village during the off-season, as a Village guide leads a 90-minute informative and scenic walking tour along the Village streets.

Entrez à l’intérieur du plus ancien pénitencier au Canada et venez explorer les endroits, dont quelques-uns datant des années 1830, où vivaient et travaillaient les détenus. Écoutez des anecdotes personnelles des anciens employés du Système correctionnel du Canada tout en apprenant la routine quotidienne des détenus et des employés et en entendant des récits d’évasions, d’émeutes et plusieurs autres sujets pendant cette visite guidée d’une durée de 1h30. Veuillez noter que les anciens employés du Système correctionel du Canada ne parlent pas français. Par contre, pour ceux qui ne comprennent pas l'anglais, votre guide touristique vous fournira sa propre traduction en français. Veuillez s'il-vous-plaît arriver 10 minutes avant le début de votre visite guidée. La visite guidée débutera à l'heure prévue et les visiteurs devront rester avec leur guide en tout temps. Tous les visiteurs doivent avoir un billet, même les enfants âgés de 0 à 4 ans. Ceux âgés de 17 ans et moins doivent être accompagnés par un adulte. Les visiteurs devront se préparer pour la visite en portant des chaussures confortables pour des marches de longues durées à l'intérieur et à l'exterieur, et devront apporter un parapluie s'ils veulent se protéger contre la pluie ou le soleil. Les visites se font en partie à l'extérieur et à l'intérieur dans les temps ensoleillés et pluviales. Veuillez noter que les billets sont non-remboursables.
